As the name implies cylindrical printing allows us to print onto cylindrical items which cannot be screen printed due to the curvature of the product such as bottles and domed objects.

Within our Rotary print department, we can print onto a wide range of cylindrical items including glass, metal and plastics, including ABS plastic, polypropylene and polyethylene.

Our main specialism is in printing onto scientific / medical equipment, printing onto cylindrical items requiring a high degree of accuracy such as metal cannisters and domes, and where the product will need to withstand continued use and chemical cleaning such as in a hospital environment. Due to the nature of this work we are often working on high value milled or turned metal parts in smaller print runs, typically 20-200 pieces at a time, but we can also print larger print runs according to your requirements.

In addition, we help many companies with prototyping of new products and have the facilities to develop artwork and jigging on site should it be required. We can provide a quick, low volume turnaround for prototyping enabling you to move on with your project as quickly as possible in order to get it into production, and can advise on the most cost effective methods of printing and batch sizes to assist you in the launch of your new design.

Most products are supplied free issued by our customers for printing, but with established contacts built up over many years with in the industry we can advise on potential suppliers should you require any assistance. Listed below are examples of some of the products printed in our rotary print department.

  • Glass / metal / plastic bottles – retail industry
  • Metal cannisters – manufacturing / scientific / medical industries
  • Metal domes – medical industry / manufacturing
  • Metal components – manufacturing
